Circumstances of Disappearance
Katrice Lee is originally from the UK, but lived on an army base in Germany with her parents. She vanished in 1981, on her second birthday, during a visit to the Naafi shop on an army base at Paderborn, near Hanover. There was an extensive search, but nothing turned up. Her parents believe she that was abducted and could have been brought up in Germany or Britain without knowing her true identity.
